Sit in a rare cupola caboose as the vintage steam engine takes you to Camp Five, the actual site of a Northwoods logging camp. Take a memorable, seven-mile, 50-minute round-trip ride on a former branch line of the Chicago & North Western Railway through the scenic Baraboo Hills. Passengers ride in restored steel coaches built in 1915. An authentically-attired conductor will call "all aboard!" before the train leaves from an historic wooden depot built in 1894. At the end of the line, passengers may detrain to get a look inside the cab of the locomotive from a viewing platform.

The Osceola & St. Croix Valley Railway operates vintage railway equipment between Minnesota and Wisconsin, weekends and holidays, through the scenic St. Croix River Valley spring, summer, and fall. In addition to the regular schedule, the railway also operates special brunch, dinner, and pizza trains.
