Carports and patio's hanging over ravines; details that have to be savored; the airplaine crash - tourist attraction; I have never had so much fun visually. The concept is awesome, and obiously conceived by a genius talent.

I went to see the doll museum. Very disappointed. There were only a small amount of dolls. The trains were great. You had to be there if you loved trains. I loves dolls that why I was there with great disappointment. This should not be advertised has a doll museum. Also, they need to dust the art work.

I recently visited Northlandz. I was overjoyed by the beautiful, breathtaking scenary that was layed out before my eyes. Close attention to detail was paid and it showed. The one mile labrynth of a tour does not stop at just model trains. There were paintings and lithographs displayed on the walls, as well as doll houses and dolls. There was also other old artifacts on display, not to mention the music hall. 5 organs diplayed for the eye to see and the ear to hear. Truely a wonderful place to visit.

The train layout is truly spectacular. It is huge in scope, intricate in design with some whimsy built in. The usually self-guided tour is long (min. 90 minutes), but even my 3 and 6 year olds were enthralled. The outside of the building could use some sprucing up/landscaping, but this is a

Have visited 3 times with my now-3 year old son. He loves it and I like it more now that he can walk.````I like trains and we've done the Strasberg thing . . . twice. But somehow Northlandz is just too much.````Like a too-large meal that is imperfectly seasoned and has cheaper ingredients, we can eat too much and while we're full, our stomach aches for a better, smaller meal next time.````Bridges and canyons are BWZ's specialty and he does the more-is-less thing here big time.````Rail is commonly HO but there are some slightly wider gauges. Mostly stock locomotives and cars. And the layouts are all simple, albeit long multi-room, loops.````Definitely worth a trip. It's truly a wonder that will probably not survive the founder's lifetime as I doubt the traffic/revenue pays the rent/insurance/upkeep/heat/AC/etc.

Very few trains running, most that were running consisted of an engine and one or two cars. Entire display in need of refurbishing, repair and/or cleaning. Engines pulling cars that they would never pull in reality. Lionel display not running at all. I am not a model railroader and could still see that this is not for the model railroader enthusiast. Not worth $3.00 never mind the $13.75 entrance fee! ``

this was the most amazing thing that i have ever seen. some of the other comments are correct, it does need dusting and yes the trains do need updating, but on the whole, you must go several times to get the full impression, i was there for more than 2 hours and still felt like i was only seeing half of what was available.

What a rip off. After driving an hour and a half with my 3 year old son to see all the trains, all we saw were dirty, broken down displays, with very few model trains running. The lifesize train was not running either. We were not the only ones complaining.````The funniest thing was a sign near a broken part of the exibit that said that an 18 month old climbed into the display and broke a bridge 7 or 8 years ago, so they left it to look like a train wreck. ````Well, they did get one thing right, Northlandz is a train wreck!

Two Weeks before Christmas - I thought the Northlandz I read so many negative reviews about would be a top notch attraction for the holidays. What a mistake. It wasnt the $13.75 admission price, but the neglected layout with very few trains running. Yes the mountain views are massive and beautiful - but for the

I should have read thes reviews before going. 3 adults & 2 kids for $75 !! What a rip off. Rarely did we see a train pulling more than 2 cars. Kids want to see moving trains. If you go, just spend the $2.75 for a 10 minute train ride outside. As far as the dolls, antiques, etc on display goes are just crap.``Dark, dusty. God forbid there was a fire.
