Another driving trip with Jeff Hartman took us to East Ely and this railroad. It was incredible as it has been left in time. The offices looked like people had just left and the shops looked still active. No wonder why they call it the Ghost Train of East Ely. Our Steam trip up through the tunnel and Robinson Canyon to Copper Flats was incredible and gave us a plan to take pictures of all the other trips of the day. It was a great weekend with lot's a live long memories and good pictures as well.``````Chris

This railroad was a wealth of history. Both the High Line and the Route to the copper pit were great. All of their rolling stock and engines are accesable to the public, and I highly reccomend looking inside the engine house. They have an incredible steam powered rotary snowplow in the back, along with several more steam engines, and baldwin and alco switchers. Just make sure you bring a camera!
