I took my 2 kids- ages 1 and 3- to the trolley museum twice last year. I would highly recommend for a nice morning outing. They have a little museum to look through, including a working replica of the trolley's in 1940's Wash DC. During the summer check their website for special kids events- we went to the Thomas the Train one and it was popular; and then you can go for a real trolley ride afterwards which only cost a few dollars per person. A fun and affordable morning out for small children.
