I drove to this one on the way to San Francisco back in 1984. The train tripm through Niles Canyon was enjoyable and seeing their equipment that was on site at that time was great. I will make another trip back to see the equipment they have now.

A wonderful ride through Niles Canyon on antique railroad equipment. Very professional volunteer operated railroad. Scenic views as the train follows Alameda Creek from Sunol to Niles, CA. The railroad has an amazing collection of historic railroad equipment at their maintenance yard.
