I took my family on Coach class on this train it cost $98.50. I shouldve known when they made us wait in 95 degree sun for 30 minutes that this was not a good idea. They board all the more expensive seats first. Whether your elderly or have an infant, they simply dont care. We boarded the train and sat in our seats with the windows looking to the north, well they dont tell you that the best views are the ones that look to the south. If you sit in the seats we had there is nothing of interest at all and will have to look at the same stuff both ways through the entire ride. We decided to go out on an open car for a better view..........what a mistake. It was very crowded with no room to even stand, it was clear that they over sold the tickets. While standing outside without warning they slammed on the brakes while I was holding my 7 month old daughter, thus causing me to run into the rail in front of us. Luckily my daughter wasnt hurt, but couldve been seriously. This was a definate rip off and feel I am just lucky my daughter didnt get hurt. I took this trip 7/25/07 at 12:30pm.
