Where else can you ride behind a Shay?``It chugs and spits and is a great ride. Good narration along the way by the crew.``I have done this ride several times over the years with friends, grandkids, etc. They must burn and leak 1000 gallons of water on each trip.

A nice geared shay trip. Although I liked Roaring Camps (Felton, CA) Shay ride a little more due to scenery. However this is fun ride too, plus its close to Yosemite so you can make it part of a great vacation trip. We always find time to take a ride on the YMSPR when in the area.

The trip is quite short, but a positive experience behind a Shay locomotive. Highly recommended as part of a visit to Yosemite National Park.
