Special excursion from Timber to Garibaldi, Oregon; 52 miles; Port of Tillamook Bay Scenic Railroad; Engine: 1952 SD 9(special duty); Coaches: 1953 Budd Rail Diesel Cars; open air car; scenery; mossy trees in a rain forest where there's no roads; many tunnels, 185 foot trestle; 3 1/2% grade(anything over 2% is steep for a train); no historical commentary; avg. car condition;
