This is an enjoyable slow-paced run along the river. While the station area has some historic buildings, there are modern hotels and other structures further south. Interesting collection of equipment on display also. Active UP line nearby.

We have been members of the museum for 2 years now. My son, now almost 4 is one of it's biggest fans. In the summer, we love to take the short train ride--it's perfect for youngsters. It's exciting to see/hear the new things he learns each time we visit. If you have young ones, also stop by the Thomas The Tank Engine area upstairs for a rest (parents) and some fun for the kids! There are also some good/interesting restaurants/shops on Old Town a block away.
