Nice outdoor museum that operates a short distance ride (1 hr RT) with rolling stock in various stages of restoration...includes small gift/bookstore. During the holidays they run the Xmas Train, complete with Santa and refreshments. I've always been impressed with the effort the volunteers put in and staff at the gift shop and ticket counter have always been very friendly. The popular Snoqualmie Falls is but a few minute drive to the North...makes a nice pairing for an afternoon. We go to the museum several times a year with our children and out of town guests.
