The Tarantula Train provides a great experience. You get to see a train operating through a city which has many other railroad crossings and connections. Yard switcing, cross town transfers, and numerous street crossings can be observed on the trip. Passage through suburbs, histoic downtown operations, and a large midtown park are all on the schedule. The train staff is very polite and knowlegable and are always willing to answer any questions. The one disadvantage is that the train is NOT airconditioned, which can be a problem in Fort Worth during the summer months.

from Grapevine down to Ft. Worth. It's almost like arriving in your own limo when the train pulls up to the stockyards. A great train ride.
