Awesome ride! Great scenery, friendly crews, clean trains, excellent for railfans. A must see!

This is a real gem. Not only is the scenery spectacular, but the equipment is vintage circa 1950 and well maintain. Brings back a lot of memories and makes for new ones. A real bargain.

24 mile round trip; 90 minutes; restrooms and A/C on the train;Engines: 1950 Alco RS 1 and 1952 RS 3 Road switchers in pull/pull arrangement; coaches: 1920's open air, a Budd stainless steel coach/dining car, 1948 club car a 1947 Budd coach with beautiful blue interior owned by the volunteers; no historical commentary; scenery: through the valley to large Lake Hammond; deer
