High quality interpretation, but the equipment needs to be kept up better, coaches in poor cosmetic condition and the locomotives are kept on the dirty to filthy side, but it's still a great experience!

Excellent National Park; lots of history; many steam engines and an interesting turn table used to park the steam engines; ``3 mile ride using a 1923 4-6-2 built by Montreal Locomotive Works and 1915 Pullman coaches``longer rides are available

I have tremendous interest in railroads and railroad history. I have visited Steamtown several times, but unfortunately I have not been very impressed with the staff at Steamtown. They have great potential with their equipment and displays, but personally I will spend my time elsewhere.
