Founded in 1953, Halton County Radial Railway is Canada's first, and Ontario's only, operating electric railway museum. Situated at Stop 92 on the former right-of-way of the Toronto Suburban Railway, we offer the opportunity to enjoy a trip down memory lane with rides on a variety of restored street cars, radial and work cars, through 2 kilometers of scenic woodlands. Port Stanley Terminal Rail operates over a scenic seven mile portion of the former London & Port Stanley Railway, between Port Stanley and St. Thomas, Ontario. The trains run year round, mostly with volunteer help. This historic section of line has been restored and preserved by their efforts. On our leisurely ride, you will cross over two bridges, traverse the boat-lined banks of Kettle Creek, look for deer in the apple orchards along the way, and marvel at the cuttings and fills created by hand labour so long ago.

Muskoka Heritage Place is the proud home of the Portage Flyer. Ride the beautifully restored steam train along the Muskoka River to Fairy Lake. Learn about it's essential link in our transportation and tourism history at the new Rotary Village Station Museum. The Portage Railway provided the essential land link with1-1/8 miles (2.5 kilometres) of narrow gauge track, over the height of land between Peninsula Lake and Lake of Bays. This railway was the smallest commercial railway in the world, operating from 1904 to 1958. The Portage Flyer steam train was instrumental in developing tourism in the local area, and continues now as a heritage attraction.
