Evangeline Express:
The Windsor & Hantsport Railway Company (WHRC) is a community-based short line railway that offers freight service to local companies, as well as a scenic excursion for tourists and locals looking for a way to spend a Sunday. Every Sunday during the summer months, the Evangeline Express runs its round trip excursion between Windsor and Wolfville. The trip is approximately 18 miles each way and is usually 3 ˝ - 4 hours long, seating approximately 200 people. This tourist train consists of two open air cars and one air conditioned coach car. En route the car attendants point out areas of interest and historical facts. Location: Windsor is located in the heart of Nova Scotia at the eastern gate to the famed Annapolis Valley.
