I took this train in June 2002. I really enjoyed the friendly crew, the charm of the line and the live steam. ````The train travels through a very beautiful area of the Lake District. Go during the week for fewer crowds. A great trip!

This railway is very good, and is a family day out. I am a guard on the railway & it is amazing to see how many people actually come on the railway.
