Tourist Railway in the Goldfields of Gippsland.
A ride on the Walhalla Goldfields Railway is an unforgettable experience. As the train leaves Thomson Station, it crosses the historic and spectacular Thomson River Bridge and then travels over the winding and rising line towards Walhalla. This journey offers wonderful views of Stringer's Creek as it meanders down to the Thomson River.

The Society is a not-for-profit organisation dependent on the work and contributions of dedicated volunteer members to succeed. The railway is currently running Trolley Trains from Healesville to the Tarrawarra Winery, crossing the Watts River, under the Donovan's Road overbridge and through the historic tunnel at Tarrawarra Winery. The Society is currently restoring other sections of the track and the immediate aim is to get the Trolleys running to Yarra Glen prior to the reintroduction of steam trains.
